Description

London, 1819. Richard, Marquess of Devon, is satisfied with his ton marriage. His wife of five months, Lady Eugenia Devon, thought she was, too, until she found the book. needs a different narrator

the book was fantastic, but often the narrator sounded as though she was reading lines. she lacked flow.

Seducing the Marquess

I totally liked the main character and the story was generally enjoyable. The narrator performs well with the female voice and narration between speaking parts. However her attempts to speak in Devon’s voice was stilted and robotic. Unfortunately, it took away from some of the enjoyment of the story.

Cute and sweet with a little sizzle

I enjoyed the story but the narration was terrible. It sounded so robotic and forced. I really wanted to love the characters but with the tinny narrator speaking for them I just couldn’t get into the story as much as I wanted to.
