Seen and Now Heard presents a meticulously researched autobiography of a Cuban girl named Crystina Bass. Born in Puerto Rico and raised in the Caribbean, South Florida, and California, Crystina's story is a story of Cubans in America. It's a story of growing up in a not-so-typical American family, yet as she says herself, "We are Americans in the purest form of the word."

With her father working in secret for the US Federal government-referred to as an 'asset'-Crystina learned a great deal about how "the system" works. She shares the shocking discovery of her father's profession and how that discovery changed her childhood.

Crystina's narrative is one of discovery and reflection. Follow along as she learns the truth of her heritage, her family's contributions to the preservation of the American Constitution, and of her father's special role in doing so.
