"Virgins": Protagonists are Jamie Fraser at age 19 and his friend and future brother-in-law, Ian Murray. (Originally published in the Tor Books anthology Dangerous Women in 2013. Dell published as an individual e-novella in 4/2016.)
"The Space Between": Protagonist is Michael Murray, who is the son of Ian and Jenny Murray (Jenny is Jamie's sister and a main character in her own right in both the books and TV show). It was good to get more of the backstory of different events mentioned and fill in a bit of history of the characters involved, I would recommend it after reading the series,

New insights on beloved characters
Being an avid Diana Gabaldon's novels reader/audio book listener, these books gave amazing insights and new light to non main characters that just add fluff and more in depth imaginations to the Outlander stories.
As with the main books, these novellas are well written, descriptive and captivating - informative and fun to read/listen to.
I now find myself wanting for more !
I had so far only enjoyed Davina Porter's lovely renderings of the beloved characters - listening to Robert, Allan and Jeff have put into mind a different perspective on the lesser known but much loved, side characters.
Thank you all for your amazing performances 🎭

Over and over again

Great Story Selections
I have read/listened to many of Diana Gabaldon’s novels. The varied narrators was a nice touch as they gave an added interest to each story. I enjoyed all the selections and look forward to future works by this author.

– Lord John is quite the detective in this tale of murder and rebellion!
4.A Leaf on the Wind of All Hallows – What actually happened to Jerry Mackenzie. Expands on “Written in My Own Heart’s Blood.”
5.Virgins – Coming of age for Jamie Fraser
6.A Fugitive Green – Coming of Age for Minerva Wattiswade.
7.Besieged – Lord John invades Cuba
I enjoyed all the stories, but Fugitive Green most of all.

I enjoyed listening

What a Surprise
