wow it takes alot for me to say wtf why but yep this is it the gore is great I was like damn wow that hurt haha one part I was like ok I need a min put it on pause for about 5 mins said ok I'm good lol. there's a warning before this books start I have read many with a warning ans always thought why is that there but this book yep I understand many will be put off by this. but if you like gore, torture and oh wow moments then you just may have found it. thank you to the author for this book I look forward to mare

This book was GREAT for me. I'm a big Edward lee fan, and this is just as great if not better. The book keeps you intrigued and the story was great. It's a good story with great gore in it. The performance from the reader was just as spot on. Gave me jason hill vibes. Great work and keep it up! on to the next one for me!

This graphic story opens with a violent rape-murder committed by a monster abusive father and turns into a strikingly autobiographical tale about a Shock-Horror/Splatterpunk author living in Japan who suffers sudden fear for his life - eventually abducted.
Strange + frightening occurrences convince 'Nestor Castle' that someone close to him is the "Butterfly" psycho stalker persona that warned him not to change his genre of writing - leading our hero to the edge of madness. Jonathan Sixtos (writing as "Jon Athan") attempts combining psychological thriller elements with his signature visceral near-sickening graphic violence in this book.. with variable success. The book isn't Athan's best work.

[Just a thought: I know he's likely pretty expensive.. but Bronson Pinchot would be the perfect narrator for Athan's novels].
As it stands, enlisted reader Beau Thomas is a true audiobook professional and turns in a praiseworthy performance on this project. His female character voice interpretations aren't great, but his tone is pitch-perfect and his "muffled screams while gagged" sound authentic. Thomas is a bit over-the-top at times and mispronounces some anatomic terms.. but his performance is "above-average" overall.

This author is much better at mind's-eye vivid disturbing gore than he is at suspense. 'Shared By Two' spends just a little bit too much time on the latter, rating 5 stars out of 10. It wasn't a waste of time for free, but you should spend your Credit on something else if they ask for it.

[N.B. The protagonist in this book is ridiculously neurotic.. truly annoying. His torture - including a circumcision with pruning shears - restores a bit of sympathy, but that guy is irritating]
