First, Gar Furlong is the most incredible narrator, I would listen to him reading the phone book. So talented with accents, he’s really something special. I’ve enjoyed every book I’ve listened to that he’s narrated.

Second, these books were pretty great. I loved going along on the journey as Sam and Declan’s relationship developed. It was a bit jarring at first to have the story told from the perspective of multiple characters because I’m so used to single or dual, but it was actually quite interesting to hear insights from Sam’s father (what a piece of work) as the stories went on.

Have to take a bit of a break before reading book 4 as I devoured 1-3 in two days. I’m going to give another Isobel Starling book a try in the meantime.

These books are definitely going on my “to re-read” list!
