Loved this book, for the stirring descriptions of American expansion, the celebration of values that matter, the characters, AND the reading/performance. Once I finished I was stunned to learn it was written 100 years ago

I read this many,many years ago, and surprised myself, on listening to it, not only how much I remembered, but how the themes reverberate today. Highly recommended!
