Description

The moment everything changed didn't happen in that cliche rockets-red-glare kind of way, it happened in the form of a waking nightmare. I caught my husband, my high-school sweetheart, the father of my children, balls deep in a sordid affair.

That was when I gave up on men and love.

I didn't count on the NHL's golden boy, the beautiful, arrogant Cooper Stone, turning my life and my hockey rink upside down.

My kids are why I wake up in the morning.

Hockey is what Cooper breathes for.

We're from different worlds and places in our lives, but when our hearts collided, something so wrong and different turned into something so right.

Contains mature themes.

Good idea but poor execution.

I felt it was supposed to be funny and witty but the story fell very short. I did prefer coppers POV as felt it was not so scattered. The beginning felt very rushed I don’t like how he barged into the kids lives. It did get better half way threw. I felt like the plot was under developed as were the characters.

An audio to remember

Natasha Madison writes so kick butt alphas. Seriously she gives us everything we look for in our book men. I am hooked on this series. Joe and Melissa bring Cooper and Parker to life in such a spectacular way you feel as if they are real. An unbelievable experience listening to this book

Great....did I say great book

This book was so good. Certain parts had me laughing out loud. Very steamy and hilarious read. I really love this author and can't wait for more of her books.

Not worth a credit

The premise of the story is good, but the conversation is cringy and the pacing is unrealistic.
I also don't like the narrator's voice. It's particularly similar to nails on a chalkboard during sex scenes. I do not recommend.

Unbearable...thank god I didn’t wasted a credit

I don’t think I’ve rolled my eyes so much. Zero build up just an arrogant male lead who basically beats his chest and stakes his claim. Female has zero back bone. Honestly couldn’t finish.

It’s been a long time since...

It’s been a long time since I’ve read/listened to something where the guy is that much of a dick for absolutely no reason.

I love alpha heroes but this was just disgusting. Like. Wow.

Just acknowledging that he is a territorial ass doesn’t make it ok. Repeatedly the girl says quit peeing on my leg or something similar that doesn’t make it ok. I actually did make it about 2/3rds the way through just to see if there was a reason for his behavior or if he stopped when they got into a relationship but no. Just controlling, demanding and yikes this is scary.

Full of steamy chemistry and second chances!

I have jumped around reading the Something So series and missed some of the earlier books and then read all the books in the spin-off, This Is series, by Natasha Madison. So, I decided to go back and start at the beginning by listening to Something So Right, book 1, narrated by Joe Hempel and Melissa Moran, who truly brought the characters to life. I loved Parker and Cooper so much and it was great reading how they found each other.

Parker thought she was leading her best life. Then she finds her high school sweetheart, her husband and the father of her children in bed with another woman. Now her only focus is her children and running their family hockey program and rink. Which is how she meets the younger, sexy and charming Cooper Stone. She hates him on sight, right? But she is going to help him rehabilitate for the sake of her business. But the more time they spend together, the harder she falls. Can she be what he truly wants?

Cooper was a total protective and possessive man, but that was because he cared. I loved seeing him with Parker and her children. He was honest, determined and caring, if a bit demanding. Parker was sweet and kind, but also vulnerable and mistrusting after what happened with her ex. Could she learn how to trust him and believe in love again? Something So Right by Natasha Madison was full of steamy chemistry and about second chances. I loved listening to it!

superb narrators and story!

Miss Madison is my favorite author now. I love her story and development of each characters in it. I have no complaint and will look to read/listen in the future from her. The narrators did superb job! Joe Hempel voice was so warm and believable. I loved to listen to his voice and he amp up the story. I will be looking for him to other audiobook. Female narrator was good too! If you like sports romance or just romance, this story is for you! I highly recommend!

Thumbs DOWN

I just can’t listen to a book where the male character thinks a woman should fall at his feet and do what he wants. And the fact that he continuously calls her “Babe” makes me want to vomit. I listened for about 45 minutes before I couldn’t anymore. It was funny in some spots but just can’t with that male character!

Welcome back to the Stone Ages !!!

I am totally surprised that he didn't hit her over the head w/a club and drag her back to his cave !!! This book has thrown women's rights and women's dignity back a good 50 years !!! I've never heard of this author and now I know why !! I am extremely disappointed and will not be reading anything from her again !!! Thank God it was free and all I lost was an hour !!

Something so Sexy!

I wasn’t sure about Cooper Stone at first, he was a little more Alpha than I like, but darn if he didn’t worm his way into my heart! I loved the way he melted for Parker, Allison and Matthew, claiming them as his own. Swoon city! This is a new author for me, but I’m diving right back in and listening to more of her audio books! Narration was lovely!
