Not a big fan of the author’s reading. The story is good though. Would recommend.

Definitely one of the better ones out there. Gregory Maguire spins a fascinating tale in the Land of Oz and does a fantastic job narrating the the novel. it is very enjoyable. I do wish that the audiobook was split into chapters and not just sections, but if that's my only complaint it still gets 5 stars in my books

I really hate to say it but Gregory Maguire is a terrible narrator. I couldn’t finish the book (I returned it) because I couldn’t stand his reading, and I can’t even tell if it’s a good story or not because he’s so distracting. I loved Wicked and don’t want to bash Maguire, but this is an honest review.
