Adored this story. But the narrator reminded me of the unsolved mysteries host. Every sentence sounded like a gotcha moment, a ghost around the corner, nothing against the narrators voice, but the delivery was just weird and awkward.

I couldn’t put it down from the first word to the last. Sure … it is not “normal” Grisham, but I really enjoyed it none the less.

My family sponsors a Syrian family, and their stories of day to day life certainly make our issues, in North America, seem mostly insignificant in comparison.

Our community celebrates the difference it has made in their lives.

A story , like “ Sooley “ , gives hope and inspiration!

I enjoyed the book although the detailed basketball play by play became a little tedious. Great if you are really into the sport. There were lots of emotional ups and downs that brought me to tears more than once. The narrator was very good.
