À propos de cet audio

In this haunting psychological drama, Samantha finds herself trapped in a labyrinth of dreams where the boundary between sleep and wakefulness blurs beyond recognition. In the wake of her beloved Aunt Flo's death, she descends through layers of consciousness, encountering a mysterious Dream Interpreter, her concerned husband Malcolm, and ancestral figures who hold the keys to family secrets long buried. As Samantha navigates these dreamscapes, she confronts her deepest fears about motherhood, identity, and the inherited trauma that flows through generations of women in her family. Nathan Alan Davis weaves a mesmerizing tale, directed by Logan Vaughn, that explores the power of familial bonds, the weight of decisions unmade, and the courage required to face one's true nature.

was short, just started getting into the swing of the book and it was over; stimulating while inviting self inflection... great use of sound effects, only thing missing is the recipe for frog legs

This dreamscape-like story is beautifully written and powerfully performed. The full cast narration elevates the experience, making it feel immersive, intimate, and almost theatrical in the best way.

At its core, Soothsayers dives into generational trauma, familial bonds, and the weight of legacy—especially for women. It left me reflecting on questions that lingered long after the final moment:

Who are we outside of our family?
Are we individuals or threads in a larger web?
How does the trauma carried by the women before us shape who we become?
And how do some women find the resilience to keep going anyway?

This short listen is layered, thought-provoking, and emotionally resonant. It’s the kind of story that doesn’t just entertain but it invites you to sit with it, to examine yourself, and to consider the invisible ties that bind us across generations.

A haunting, reflective listen that lingers

Occult like and Esoteric in its storytelling this is a great dive into the complexity of humanity, soul searching, familial relationships and the way our dreams shape our world around us. What an absolute charmer of a story and fit in an hour. You won’t be disappointed.
