Description

Raysha will do whatever it takes to fix her broken soul, even if it means venturing into the unknown with nothing but her brother, an enchanted water bottle, and her fierce determination.

A great start

Definitely a set up for future books, but was still really enjoyable. The magic system is introduced organically in the story instead of smacked into your head with explanation, which was nice.

The narrators performance was good overall but the recording lacked clarity, seemed kind of washed out from time to time and I had to go back to listen to a section more than I would like.
