There is a lot to love here, especially if you liked Detransition Baby. What I will say is that it will be a little more challenging for cis audiences, and a little more stimulating and thought provoking for trans readers. While it is compelling and well written it isn’t always comfy or fun — each story sharply interrogates the way gender works. This is incisive, thought provoking trans literary fiction at a high level.
