Spits Fire and Speaks Truth
As it is with written word, I devoured this audio in one session. The passion and conviction with which Sophie wrote, then read her life (portions of) aimed right into my heart. I laughed, cried, laugh-cried and more all throughout. Raw, honest, powerful.
Everything. Always. Comes back to our Lord. As it should. As it does. Sophie once again shows us the how and truth of it.
It is her gift to us and we are grateful

Talented writer!
I identified with each chapter and loved this book even more than “A Little Salty…”, which has been my fave. Her narration was powerful—putting a spotlight on the funny and the hard and the true things in life. I highly recommend and texted my dearest friends today telling them to run out and get it.

Must Listen!!
You will laugh so hard you will cry, and you will ugly cry so be warned. Your heart will be warmed as only Sophie can with her storytelling, and your heart will be convicted. My hope by the end is that you will be standing all the way up and that God will use this book as He did with me. You must listen all the way to end of the epilogue. So good Miss Sophie! So good!

Exceptionally Funny and Inspiring!!!
Sophie Hudson nailed this one! The performance, the writing, the humor, and the Biblical applications make this one of the best audiobooks of which I have ever had the pleasure of listening. I absolutely adored every second of this and laughed out loud numerous times in every chapter! Well done, Sophie! Well done!!!

First of all, I have been listening to your podcast for over a year now. I can’t say how much I enjoy listening to you ladies. This is the third of your books that I have listened to. I spend a lot of time listening to audiobooks because I am in my car a lot. Thank you for bringing not only your thoughts but your personality to this audiobook. This has been a tough season for my husband and I. One child had left and moved far away and our second went through some rebellion before leaving and now we have an empty nest. Thank you for reminding me that Jesus is still who I want the world to see when they see me. As always, you encourage us and remind us about who we are walking through this crazy world for. ❤️

Delightful with Sass
Sophie feels like a relatable friend helping me acknowledge that my struggles, fears and crazy family are not as far off from normal as I had a thought. She encourages with the beautiful reminders of God’s word woven through each chapter of her life. I felt like I was growing in my own areas of struggle right along side her. I adore her ability to find the humor in the difficult moments and her undeniable sassy independence. Adored this book! Thank you Sophie.

Loved everything about this book!!
Sophie was so honest and open through all the chapters and I connected with her on so many levels. I loved this book so much. It was full of encouragement, full of truth and full of thought provoking conversation. I highly recommend this book!!

Just loved it!
I really loved this book. So many great stories, but really made me think about my life and my attitude and where I might need to make some adjustments. The chapter about her Mom had me flat out sobbing and I really don't know how she read it without crying. I'm going to give it a week or two and then listen again- that's how much I loved it.
