I first want to start by saying that if you're looking for any "Skywalker Saga" content here you'll find little. With that being said the book has been LITTERED with lore and references. I dont want to spoil anything in my review but I was very surprised to see a familiar face that was not mentioned to the media at all. The narration is some of the best in Star Wars audio books that I have listened too.

As a fan of over 20 years I can confidently say that newer fans to the Star Wars universe and older fans of the Star Wars universe should be very content with what they are given here today.

I'll be sure to update my review if anything changes however a few chapters into Part II and my excitement has not ceased. This is an excellent introduction to the new era of the High Republic and I am very excited to see what the future releases this year will bring us.

I loved this book as a first step into a new star wars generation. I loved clone wars for how they built out the star wars universe, and here Charles Soule sets a great foot forward for star wars in this new age. Can't wait to see more from the Luminous team!

tbh was a bit worries when I saw the new star wars book .as a huge fan of legends cannon I always get worried about new things..but this story is amazing and can't wait to get the next in the series has a bit of everything for star wars fans

Light of the Jedi is a very different take on the Star Wars formula but it hits all the right cords.

The story has pacing issues but overall very enjoyable. From the amazing narration to the music and sounds that made us fall in love with this Galaxy Far Far Away. Highly recommended.
