This is an audio presentation, a monologue, not a book as read by the author. There are large gaps, times when Eckhart is organizing his thoughts. Some of these gaps are up to 30 seconds and could have been edited out. I played this audiobook at 1.35 speed. However, as this book is full of deep thoughts and guidance, these gaps can be useful to contemplate the wisdom.

Paradoxically, I know one of Mr Tolle's point is, this book shouldn't be about food for thought. But I found nourishment in these words. I think this what I needed, and all I will need to live in the present.
