Description

The devastation they see as they make their way out of the city is a small part of the horror that the nation will become. As the days go by with no food deliveries and no water flowing from taps, civilization will start to crumble and it will be survival of the fittest. With 1500 miles to cross, they will need to plan well, count on each other, and pray for a little luck. Even with that, chances are slim of getting home when you are stranded.

Canada...

The story itself is good. I am Canadian, so I was extra interested in trying it. There are some really cringe-worthy errors though. When they talked about the death penalty (which Canada has not had for a very very very long time) I thought it was awkward. If you don't know some actual facts, it's pretty good as a straight-forward survivalist story. I was just surprised to learn the author herself is Canadian. With some of the writing, I feel like I was expecting Texas or Florida.
