Beautiful

I loved this book it was the beautiful story that is true for many I would recommend this to everyone I know and this book deserves a five star rating because it is amazing and I feel like Chris makes the character become real

Not for kids

So much bad language I constantly tensed up because of it I would ask a parent to listen to and give you permission to listen as I wish I did. I love Chris Colfer’s books but I saw this as a fail.

I hated the ending!

I listened with great enjoyment and interest to this tape. While listening I looked up the author's other books, I thought about recommending it to some kids I know and compared it to "The Perks of Being a Wall Flower",until the end. I'm not enough of a literary critic to know if the ending was powerful or not, but the first thing that came to mind was the movie ending of one of my favorite plays "The Bad Seed". If you read the book or see the play you get one ending, if you watch the movie you get another. I feel like we got the movie ending here and it almost ruined the book for me.

Amazing and Real

This is a story so meaningful and truthful I could believe it was a true story, Chris Colfers definitions of life and what it means throughout the book really touched my heart.
Truly Amazing.

This book was so good and his voice is so soothing and calm to listen to! Chris just loves to kill a main character at the end of his books 🥹

Just "Pretty Good" and That's Okay

I remember being excited when this book/movie came out and then the physical book sat on my shelf half-finished for years. The audio book was in my audible library for months before I could finish listening to it. Colfer isn't a bad narrator, in fact, I genuinely enjoyed hearing his voice in relation to the main character. This story was just flat. There isn't a lot of character development, and by the end of the book I didn't care enough about the main character to be affected by his death. I wouldn't read this again.

Brought Me To Tears

I absolutely LOVED listening to this story. The ending was one I did not expect. It brought me to tears. Chris Colfer yet again succeeded at getting me to love a character and bring them close to my heart. I loved this. I love this. I will always love this.

Truly Wonderful, Poignant and Hillarious

This book is a must read/listen for any one in need of a reminder on how amazing and heartbreaking life can be all at once. The importance of our temporary existence in this world is to remind ourselves everyday to be in the moment. Enjoy the good and the bad all mixed in together.
