Description
Drunk customers. Shoplifting raccoons. Otherworldly visitors. As night-shift clerk at the 24-hour gas station at the edge of town, Jack has pretty much seen it all.
That is, until his best friend reveals the body of a local politician hidden in the trunk of a car, setting off a chain of events with apocalyptic potential. Soon, Jack finds himself entangled in a supernatural conspiracy involving monster hunters, sociopaths, doomsday cultists, and...garden gnomes?
Armed with nothing but his wits, sarcasm, and alarming amounts of coffee, can Jack stay alive long enough to see another morning shift? Or will he, too, fall victim to the dark, ancient force infecting the dreams of everyone around him?
One thing’s for sure. He’s not getting paid enough for this.

Big praise for Jon Grilz as Gas Station Jack!
Absolutely love Jon Grilz putting his voice to Jack Townsend's hillarous Tales From the Gas Station!
As a fan of the Creepy podcast, I've been praying for this audiobook version since the very first Gas Station Jack podcast adaptation that graced my ears.
If you're coming here from the podcast rest asurded - alongside some familiar stories, there are some new tales, character development, and back story that will draw you deeper into the Gas Station universe.
Can't wait for part 2!

I was skeptical at first
I had to give this one a second chance, I am now in love with this adaptation of my favorite book. although I personally would have loved to hear mrcreepypastas voice here, Jon grilz does a dam fine job here

Amazingly funny
I actually discovered the work of Jack Townsend through the Creepy podcast and I absolutely loved their narration of the insane stories from Jack and the gas station. I've actually been reading the books (I'm on the third volume atm) and loving everything about them. So when I found out that the cast of Creepy were doing a theatrical version of the first audiobook I was stoked! They did such a good job bringing this story to life! If you enjoy weird and funny stories that don't take themselves too seriously, this one is for you. I hope they'll make the next volumes like this too!!

Every masterpiece has its lack lustre adaptations…
Don’t make your first impression off this review. It’s still worth your time/credit. Just a fan ranting here.
First off? I LOVE the series as a whole. It’s funny, smart, well written and the audiobooks narrated by MCP captures the essence of the characters amazingly well. I want to like this so much, but when it comes down to it both the new voices and added sound effects just diminish and water down an otherwise suburb story.
Some effects over character voices are just bizarre. The fortune teller in the first chapter sounds more like an other worldly cougar then a mid-aged chain smoker. That being said? The yak-yaks were very spot on, so credit when credit is due.
No one was gonna top MCP when it came to voicing Jack and Jerry, and it’s unrealistic to expect that. But the VA’s just sound so far removed from what those characters should be/sound like. Jack is supposed to be sickly, nerdy, awkward 20 something year old. Here? He sounds like someone you’d expect to see in Fight Club. In fact, Jerry, someone who’s much bigger/muscular then Jack, sounds like someone Jack could easily shove in a locker. I’m sorry,
I’m sure you guys did your best but this is a really hard listen to finish…I still will cause I believe you have much potential. But I’d much rather listen to the original audiobooks again before relistening to this.
Jack, if you’re somehow reading this? I know lots of fans would have KILLED to have you voice yourself. And with MCP as Jerry? You two would have been legends. Even just reusing MCP’s lines from the audio books would have been better then this.
