A cliffhanger are you kidding me?

Absolutely loved the book but it’s a cliffhanger and a darn fine cliff to hang on.
Wish it would have been more of a completed book, the cliffhanger really does feel like it’s stopping in the middle of a sentence.

Loved it!

I usually hate 2 part series that end in a cliffhanger but this was perfect! Can't wait to find out what happens next!!

Nerve wracking read

This was an amazing read!! I loved the story line and this book just taunted me for the next one in the series needing to know what will happen.

Ugh 😑 At least the narrators were good

I’m sorry but I just really can’t with this book! A fucking cliffhanger, a dumb ass MFC, a troubled MMC and a lot of stupidity from both of them and this book has high reviews? For freaking what?! It sucks ass. He’s not a bully, he’s a tortured guy who tortured his love interest and she allows herself to be humiliated and tortured by others around her.

The girl has zero backbone and her own mother doesn’t value her. Yet, she can hit him and do so repeatedly but she can’t do the same to her actual bully? Foh 😑🤬

Cringy 50 shades of grey high school for 30 year olds

Got it free and it wasn’t worth it. The “bad boy” character was written as trying too hard to be bad, his girlfriend (conquest?) was supposed to be an independent woman who fell for his blatant possessiveness. Really? It’s cringy story line literally made me roll my eyes as I listened and sometimes I couldn’t help but say “yeach” out loud. And, seriously, all these characters eat for breakfast is pancakes. Always pancakes.

Looking forward to the next one

Enjoyed the narration and thought the plot was good, but slightly predictable at times. Thought the two leads had good chemistry but Ace’s anger at things that were outside of Remi’s control was a little obnoxious near the end, although by the end we did get a better understanding of why he was so angry… so that helped. Definitely interested to know more about what Ace thinks his uncle is up to. I plan to continue the series and I would recommend to anyone looking for an enemies to lovers/virgin h/ angry bad boy/family secrets type of story.

Dark, beautiful and heartbreaking

This makes you guess, constantly trying to figure out the puzzle, but although I may have gotten pieces, it still takes me by surprise. I hate Ace and hurt for him, love him and Remy and keep hoping. Their chemistry is crazy and you want her to be able to have her day. But we’re left hanging. Need to get book 2!
