À propos de cet audio
Known to some in the U.S. as being a part of the Bible Belt, Liam was born in the 9th ward of New Orleans, Louisiana. By the tender age of seven he thought he knew scripture the way his grandmother and father would recite "spare the rod spoil the child" before applying pressure behind him. He was always inquisitive and would ask the question WHY, without truly ever receiving an explanation.
When his father lost his job, Liam's private school safety net tumbled. He began attending a New Orleans east public school which at the time was ranked the worst in the United States. He soon realized that inside and outside the church walls, he would find heartache and feel pain. With his grandmother, Mama Janice instilled the presence of the LORD in him. He attended church all morning and day, when not conflicted. However, he noticed the contradictions between what he learned in the church walls with the harsh reality of living in the murder capital of America at the time.
Without knowing much, all he knew he could do was what he was told. He started early experiencing the pressures of life already pressing up against him. Will a diamond be formed out of Liam as he begins his journey through this thing, we all call life, or will he just be yet another branch tossed into the fire and BURNED!? As he begins his journey in this ten-book series.........
