Some Good Advice, Could Have Been an Hour Long
It was OK. There is some good info and some good advice, but 75% of this book is technical jargon and filler. The entire section on sex could have been left out and doesn't even seem relevant to the topic. It goes from diet and fasting advice to lessons on how incompetent men can learn to make a woman orgasm better? The theme of the book is transforming your body, but also how to find the g-spot and where the clitoris is most sensitive? I found that whole section irrelevant to the topic and hard to listen to. Basically just attention-grabbing filler.
I'm a big fan of Tim Ferriss, from his books to his podcast, but this is one I probably could have skipped and just looked up the Slow Carb Diet One Page Outline that can be found online and summarizes the main points behind the diet plan. It is also worth pointing that since this book has come out Ferriss has re-thought this diet and no longer follows it so it has definitely lost some of its relevance, even to the author. So coming in at less than 4 hours, being mostly filler and also being out-of-date, I likely wouldn't use a credit on this one again.

I like the info that is given and the narrator has a great voice. But, the PDF is not accessible which is really irritating and disappointing. Especially when following a regime, workout, food intake or anything of that nature. It is easier to have something to look at. So this wasn't the best purchase.

Some good ideas, but not quite a whole program
There are a lot of good ideas, and interesting ones in this book. However, some of the ideas presented are a bit of a stretch. I’m going to give it a try for four weeks though the diet and the exercise, and see how it goes.

Outdated information. Diet suggestions are more of a fad diet and no one can sustain changes that are achieved from a fad diet. Accompanying PDFs are great for quick reference.
I liked the science based info and appreciate the author’s dedication to self experimentation and data collection. Much of his research particularly hit home with respect to the science behind cardio and hard core workouts and how they do very little or NOTHING to increase or stimulate fat loss around the mid section, especially for menopausal and post menopausal women. The struggle is real! After working out hardcore for 1 hour per day, 5-6 days per week for 9 months and frustrated by seeing only muscle loss & no fat loss, I tried the 30-30-30 rule for just one week, and saw noticeable fat loss results around my waist & face, and I feel much more relaxed, and strangely energetic and stronger!
The PDFs that accompany the download are great quick reference materials for taking this to the next level .
The narration was easy listening and well done.
