good plot

Having come from A Soldiers Life and enjoyed that. it was only natural that World Sphere would be a book to try, especially with the same narrator who does another excellent job. There were a few twists, a few turns but ultimately it's an enjoyable book that i loved. Cant wait for the next one!

continues on par with the first. series is a little more slice of life / coming of age. characters are young, they make dumb decisions and are oblivious which nails adolescents pretty accurately.

magic system continues to ne both kind og basic but interesting.

If you enjoy books where 95% of the supporting cast are attractive female characters who almost all lust after the 15 year old MC and his Super Soldier best friend, then this book is for you!

The world building and magic systems are SO darn awesome, but so little actually gets done with it. It's basically a slice of life adventure featuring a bunch of horny teenagers. Nothing much happens, and most of the characters are so 1 dimensional it hurts.

Great world and potential, but not much else.
