Meanwhile, Orobai goes in search of the enigmatic White Eagle.
Throughout it all, the numerous plot threads and story lines weave together into a complex tapestry of a world quickly heading to an apocalyptic change as a young girl, Kalisha, takes up Orobai's instruction that she document it all.
