loved it

loved it. narrarator was good. great book imo. I was looking for something to listen to since I've read all the harry potter books and this was great.

Am I supposed to hate the protagonists?

The story is decent, but it's hard to relate to the protagonists, two twins with an oddly affectionate relationship. The only emotion the pair evoke is annoyance. The character of the male twin is detestable, the female twin is helpless and both are whiny. Maybe these traits play into the rest of the series, I guess time will tell. If it's intentional, the author did a heck of a job.

Pretty good

Was looking for something to listening to following Harry Potter and LOTR series and someone suggested this. Actually pretty good and will be purchasing all of the books. The narrator isn’t my favourite and sometimes the audio gets quiet and then loud again. The story is a little immature and they repeat a lot of the same lines, enough to notice. Regardless i want to find out what happens in the books to come and a good fantasy option.

good book

it was a good book my only problem with it was I did not like the brother his personality was a little annoying in my opinion but other then that it was a great read 8/10

good audiobook

good narrator, I can't wait to hear the next book, hopefully it will be as good as this book

The voice actor is amazing!

I read and listened to this book and the experience is totally different because of the voice actor. He does all the accents, different voices and noises. It's amazing and it feels like the story is alive in your ears.
