Of the several hundreds of books I own, the Mrs. Pollifax series is among my very favourites. I was so thrilled to find them on Audible too! Exciting adventures with wry touches of humour…such a treasure to re-read yet again. Barbara Rosenblat does a very good job of bringing her to life, and has a vast repertoire of voices for the various characters.

I loved both stories I've read now. They're witty, entertaining, funny, and filled with intrigue! I also love the wonderful narrator. She brings the books to life with her voices, accents and characterizations! Can't say enough good things about these books!

It’s a great story with lots of twists and turns, eccentric and engaging characters and a fabulous description of Istanbul. Mrs Pollifax shares many qualities with Miss Marple, but she is much more vivid and active - sometimes over-the-top, but generally delightful!
