This book reads like a Dissertation by a PhD candidate. Heather Lynn presents a carefully curated and organized assessment of posits suggested by authors like Sitchin & Hancock in an accessible format.
The book doesn't present anything new and is disappointingly dry, but acts as an admirable desk reference for anyone interested in the 'Ancient Alien'/Spacefaring 'Gods' topic. Lynn outlines the theories commendably.. including skeptical views and philosophical context. Apparently, her thesis defense went well (congratulations, Heather).

Reader Chelsea Stephens does a praiseworthy job narrating the book. She overenunciates somewhat but captures the author's pedagogical tone nicely - while admirably maintaining interest despite occasionally droning text. The presentation is more than creditable.

Altogether, 'The Annunaki Connection: Sumerian Gods, Alien DNA, and the Fate of Humanity' merits 6 stars out of 10. It's a reasonable investment of time if you can get the audiobook off of the 'Plus' menu, but not worth a Credit if they ask for one. If you are dead set on having this easy-to-navigate encyclopedic book in your library, a text copy might fit your needs better than this recording. Having access to an Index would make the work extremely handy for looking up theories & evidence.
