À propos de cet audio

In the summer of 1998, Zia and Treyton Dreyfuss moved into the Marquil Mansion. Running from their sketchy past, Treyton takes a job as the house’s new caretaker and renovator. Many things had happened inside those walls, things the people of Willow Village talked about in hushed whispers and heated debates. That didn’t bother the Dreyfuss’s, though; they were used to the side eyes and gossip. They thought they could walk onto the property unscathed… that was until the doors opened, and they looked inside.

Behind the house, through the thickets and the thorny brush, sits a convergence of two rivers. The first was Summit, and the second was simply known as Deep Vine. There was a power beneath the water, something that called to the spirits that walked the land of the Marquil Property. Zia could feel it in her toes, running the length of her arms and releasing through the tips of her fingers. She could see the shadows that called out to her in the dead of night. Zia had been there before, if only in a dream; the man underneath the babbling, ice-cold springs had waited for her to return. Gideon Marquil was a man of his word, and he swore he would come back. As the waning moon began to hide behind its shroud of sleep, Gideon waited patiently for Zia to discover something so profoundly disturbing she may not ever want to escape.
