Although references to the regent himself were accurate enough, the use of period language and etiquette read a bit like a madlib. While I expect variance for artistic license, the alterations used in this text were clearly from a lack of research and understanding than an artistic choice.

the narration was really good on the audiobook. this is a really nice take on Beauty and the Beast oh, and some very steamy scenes.

I enjoyed the storyline but found that the middle of the story dragged. The narration bothered me at first and even though I got somewhat used to it, it wasn't the best. it seemed very over dramatic at first.
