The author is 100 percent focused of course on cognitive behavioural therapy approaches, and clearly had no awareness about the addictive nature of modern processes “food”. She is trying to make this useful for anyone on any diet style, but that just won’t work when people are choosing highly refined foods and or eating in very small quantities because of high calorie density. If you don’t know what I mean please google “calorie density”, or the book “The Pleasure Trap” or “Fat Sugar Salt”.
