I keep debating back and forth if it’s the story that is sooo good it’s convinced me that the female character is so annoying or if it’s the narrator. I know deep down it’s the story- the female character is so selfish and undeciding that at one point I almost stopped listening midway through. I pushed on and kept listening past the midway point and felt like it was going the direction i wanted it to go, until the female character did it again which, prompted me to write this review before I even finished the book. I guess I’m looking for a story that makes me want to keep listening, not stop parts way through. However, I do want to know how it ends so I will keep listening but it’s brought out annoyance in me, not passion, happiness or sadness.

The narrators are good. Teddy Hamilton is excellent and suits his character. Sexy, manly, compassionate and patient. Different than most of his characters he’s narrated (toxic, possessive) The female narrator is good as well- a bit cringy during intimate scenes otherwise suits her character.

Edit: just finished. I would recommend this book
