We know that Jesus was not born December 25, AD 0. This date was selected by a monk in the sixth century. We believe that we have learned the more precise date, having found the date for the Star of Bethlehem and the scientific manner that God used to create and display it.
Further, we are concerned that the date of December 25 has become more of a commercial than a religious holiday to celebrate His birth. And we are concerned that some governments are even trying to remove Jesus from Christmas, lest Christ offends other religions.
Is it time for a pure Christian holiday to celebrate His birth?
