And now his relationship with Kelly is on shaky ground, and that frightens Blue more than anything.

He doesn't want to lose the number-one person in his life, but the cost to keep Kelly close might be more than he's willing to pay. Very sweet friends-to-lovers romance. I enjoyed both books!! I liked the length of both as well. It was a tad confusing on who actually wanted to come out to everyone and who didn't but that's a rollercoaster of an experience for most so it's kind of understandable. Excellent duel narration!!

I loved this story! It was so cute. The narrator for blue was amazing.. the other one sounded like a radio host. But it was still great. Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️/5

This was probably the least inspired football romance I've read. the characters were found me, and the writing was okay, but I didn't really care about anything. the stakes were super ultra low, so it didn't keep me interested.

read this if you like stories were nothing really happens. don't read this if you want a little more drama.

There was real potential with this book. Sadly, it came just shy of delivering.

Blue spent far too much time waffling, and Kelly put up with it for too long. Blue's constant dipping-his-foot-in attitude irritated me to no end, and Kelly's acceptance of it was no better.

For all the "angst" that should have been there, I didn't FEEL it; I spent more time frustrated or angry with the characters, and there wasn't enough emotional investment. If the author wanted to break our hearts, I wanted mine torn from my chest, but instead, I spent my time rolling my eyes at Blue's melodrama. In fact, I was rooting for Kelly to get in bed with one of the other guys that seemed into him, which is totally unheard of, as I like monogamy.

Overall, the story was a bit disappointing.

As for the narration, I'm a huge fan of Sean Crisden, so that was a plus for me.
