The main character is a wonderful character, her emotions and decisions seemed very realistic. The world building was absolutely amazing, I found myself wishing I could live in this place, it was like the author was describing my dream place to live. I was on the edge of my seat for the entire last quarter of the book. Very happy, I suspect I will be listening again.

Great story, lush prose and driven characters you care about. The narration is pitch perfect and you’re never quite sure if the good, the bad or the supernatural are going to win. Can’t wait for his next already.

disappointing, so many characters, nicknames etc... that I just struggled to follow. It was really hard to follow as an audio book in the background
