An amazing middle grade fantasy
I already loved this book going in, but hearing it brought to life by such a talented narrator was like experiencing it for the first time. Wow. I can't recommend this book enough. So magical, with characters that will stay with you forever.

Delightful
While I had read this book upon its release, I underestimated how much of a new experience it would be as an audiobook. Reba Buhr does a truly wonderful job, making it somehow an even more vivid experience.
Would recommend this to anyone who enjoys reading middle grade fantasy, whether you are in the target age range or not! This story manages to walk the line of scary so the stakes feel real, without being too overwhelming for young audiences.
