Forward is the only direction, but that was hard for young Gloria to believe after living through the 1997 war in the Democratic Congo and then in her subsequent journey to the US. Throughout Gloria’s life, events have sometimes made her doubt her ability to move forward. With financial hardships and health scares, she struggled to remain faithful and become accustomed to the western world. The whole time, her only guiding light is Jesus Christ.
The Book of Gloria shares Gloria’s testimonies of God’s blessings in her life through resourceful prayers and stories of triumph. Her life is a prime example of how to persevere and keep God first no matter what. Starting in the Congo, her struggles only grow more complicated, but her love for God grows even stronger. Finding the light can be difficult, but her experiences and faith can serve as a guide to how anyone can find happiness. She found a beautiful existence through God’s path and so can you!
