À propos de cet audio

A lore-building companion novella to the Chronicles of Eden sci-fi saga by debut author Kodey Springate.

In the year 2583, the Lord visited Ishaiah, son of Enak, of the tribe of Asher. Blessed as a prophet, Ishaiah is then tasked with recording the truth and guiding the chosen ones to the new promised land, a planet named Jericho. The people of Jericho are the remnant of believers in a galaxy where faith has lost most of its meaning. This is their book.

The Book of Jericho: According to the Prophet Ishaiah is a religious text that documents many major events in the Chronicles of Eden sci-fi saga from the perspective of a prophet around the year 2600 AD and concludes with four prophecies which some may look forward to as the series unfolds.

Like other religious texts, The Book of Jericho is made up of multiple “books” written by a prophet:

  1. Strife: Ishaiah’s call to be a prophet and major events from the 1900s to the 2200s. Mankind forges steel into great machines of death and destruction and wages war across the heavens and the Earth.
  2. Discovery and Ruin: The discovery of the Eden system in 2345 and the galactic war that follows.
  3. Authority: The rise of a united government following the Great Eden War.
  4. The 144,000: 1,440 wise men and women are chosen to help Ishaiah lead the 144,000 to their new promised land of Jericho.
  5. Reclamation: The 144,000 reach the planet Jericho, build their temple, receive 10 commandments, and make a covenant with their God.
  6. Faith: Book of Jericho theology, heavily inspired by the Bible.
  7. Prophecy of Rebellion: A prophecy of the resistance that rises against the United Authority and the subsequent war.
  8. Prophecy of Life: A prophecy of the discovery of alien life.
  9. Prophecy of the Collapse: A prophecy of the collapse of galactic society.
  10. Prophecy of the End: A sci-fi interpretation of the Book of Revelation.
