One if the best books I have ever read to be honest. The only two qualms: a slow start and questionable consent around BDSM.

In the beginning, the narrator nearly had me tossing this one into the DNF abyss... But I'm thrilled I stuck it out!

A twisty, sexually charged story with all the antiquity and occultism you didn't know you wanted! Although I really didn't enjoy the narrators gravely tone for Lily herself, I think she made the side characters voices up in a story-salvaging way.

All in all, a surprisingly good listen and read! 4/5 ⭐️s
