25 hours worth of survival
I enjoyed this 3 book box set. It was written in a way that was very realistic! I discussed some of the ideas with my husband who is a wannabe prepper. We can do better! I loved the gun and ammo talk! In Canada we can not legally carry even with a permit! If an EMP or terrorist attack happens here, we're in trouble!
The characters in the books are believable and likeable (for the most part!) and the situations are realistic. I don't think a guy like Jim (main character) would work in an office environment. He's the type of guy who works with his hands. Someone who is a builder, welder, farmer, or works in construction.
The narrator did a fantastic job! 5 stars across the board!

Frightening Display of Humanity
One of the best books I’ve ever read and or listened to, truly a reflection of humanity under stress.
The story portrays a realistic view of what May or will happen when the world turns.The book is entertaining it compels you to listen and think about what would you do under these circumstances.

Really fun listen
This book and it's narrator really paint a picture in your mind so it's almost like watching a movie. There are some scary scenes and some pretty sad scenes as well. Can't wait to start the next set of books!!

Excellent series
The first book starts off with action almost immediately and the other 2 keep it going. I’m invested in these characters and must continue the series - always a sign of a good book for me. It’s well written and well narrated. I would definitely recommend.

Unexpectedly good
Awesome narration. Kevin Pierce is in my top 2 audiobook narrators. Now to the story! Really loved the story line and makes you think what would you do in this situation. You won’t be disappointed with this box.

This book exceeded my expectations
I’ve listened to, and read many prepper fiction stories. Of all of the books this one is up there with the best of them and after going through three books I was still enjoying them. I cannot help but poke a few holes in narratives though. The only major complaint I’d have is that in situations like this, there would be international response. Maybe on the coast there is a UN force or something and it will become apparent in other books.
At any rate this book is 10/10 and so is the narration! Thanks

Well written
I like the story and how realistic it was to a point. A little disturbed at the dark view of humanity, it was thought provoking. I did not like his descriptions of certain people it was extremely judgmental and forced the authors opinions on the reader instead of making up their own mind. It came across as preachy about certain people he came across if he didn’t like how they looked, (tattoos, slovenly dressed etc) then of course they were the bad guys who lived off government and were stealing etc. Like, people in trailer parks, etc.
I prefer A American who is more subtle in letting the reader make up their own mind and is more open to people from different walks of life. Also on and on about the types of guns…yeah, yeah we get it, they have guns and need them to protect themselves. Stop going on about them and let get to the action. Be warned it is very right wing and all American gun loving flag waving read. I didn’t like how isolationist this guy and his community he creates are all white and not liberals…lol. Despite this Infound the story intriguing and spent a lot of time deciding if I agreed. I think the book focuses a lot on fear but then looking at the US now, maybe it is justified. Makes you think of what your own morals are wonder how humanity would react in this situation and if you agree with the author. Overall an interesting read.

One of the best I have listened too!
Huge post apocalyptic fan here, zombies, EMP, aliens etc. you name it I will listen to it. I enjoy series, hours upon hours of listening to survival and this, this was the best one so far. The narrators voice was pleasant and even, the characters grew in you instantly. Give it a listen, you will not be disappointed.
