We need to look at ourselves as parents and our individual children and figure out what approaches will work for us in this season. And that might change tomorrow! So it's important to have a well informed concept of parenting and then move forward with what works in your home right now.  

I am all about keeping it real. So this audiobook will not be pretty or perfect or tied up with a bow. I'm honest about times we screwed up, the seasons where it was really hard, but also the times we laughed and loved and did it well. I'm hoping that this book starts a conversation about the struggles often faced by foster and adoptive parents and creates a community between all of us.
