A little disjointed
I agree with a previous reviewer, that this story didn’t flow as well as the previous, multi-authored novel.
It kept me wanting to know what would happen & there were some really good chapters, but sadly not worthy of 5 stars.
Have to say that Alfred Molina’s performance was, as usual, outstanding!

A Dog’s Breakfast
Yes, this book is peppered with passages of good writing, interesting trivia and unknown fact - as befitting the authors - but it’s also a disjointed mishmash of words flung at the audience, hoping something will stick. I kept hoping it would start to flow; it didn’t. A better editor might have helped.
