À propos de cet audio

A fae princess bound by a cruel glamour. Three golden-haired warriors sworn to protect her. A dark fae lord with loyalties only to power.

Aurra was born to inherit the fae crown, but instead, she was raised in cruelty, her magic suppressed, her very identity erased. Now as an old glamour sweeps through the realm her power begins to awaken, and with it, a hunger she doesn’t understand.

For fate begs to be fed.

Three beautiful, deadly, and fiercely loyal fae appear and claim they’ve come to save her, buy her from the life akin to slavery her own mother sold her into.

Finch, with boyish charm and a tongue that gets him into more than one kind of trouble.

Zev, strong and silent, a bear of a fae who’d stand before death itself to save those he loves.

And Shiel.

Shiel, Lord of the Western Court, with a temper only he can tame and a fiery passion that soon threatens to consume more than Aurra’s heart.

Try as she might to resist the fae she’s been taught to hate, she soon finds herself unable to deny the way she’s drawn to them, body and soul.

But they aren’t the only ones. They weren’t the first fae to find her.

They weren’t the first fae to leave their mark.

Icarus, the dark fae lord of the Wildness, got to her first. With curling horns, blackened wings, and words that whisper of bonds only fate can break, he isn’t just dangerous.

He’s irresistible.

And he doesn’t just want her. He wants all of her.

Heart. Soul. Body. Power. Kingdom.

Caught between desire and destiny, temptation and loyalty, Aurra has only just discovered she’s fae when she must learn who to trust—before the realm rips itself apart for the right to claim her.

The Court The Fae Forgot is the first book in a complete slow burn (but extra spicy) dark enemies-to-lovers fantasy romance series with multiple love interests, hidden powers, and handsome dark-haired villains who may or may not get the girl if they learn to behave.

I struggled to feel engaged and while there were things happening it just didn't draw me. I'll still give book 2 a chance, but this one was slow and uneventful for its majority. Huge "woe is me" aspect for the protagonist which got old and repetitive very quickly.

Feels quite slow.
