À propos de cet audio
Sandra is opposed by a threat thought long-buried in this exciting conclusion to the Dungeon Crafting series....
After recovering from the effects of a Core shard taking over her mind, Sandra had developed a way to bond with nearby Dungeon Cores, “pacifying” them in the process. Consistent culling of the Monsters within their dungeons would still be required, but no longer would the surrounding areas be dangerous with wandering Monsters sent out by those Cores.
Accomplishing all of that will inevitably lead to a greater responsibility that Sandra wouldn’t be able to handle on her own. Fortunately, the surrounding races are more than willing to step up and contribute, thereby slowly taking their lands back from the hostile Dungeon Cores trying to kill them all. With their help, Sandra’s dreams of being able to ignore the world and get back to her peaceful crafting are getting closer to reality.
Unbeknownst to the crafty Dungeon Core, however, an old foe learns of Sandra’s existence and is bent on destroying her - one way or another. Only through perseverance, the help of her friends, and quite a bit of crafting will she be able to defeat this adversary; doing so will not only ensure the safety of her Core and the surrounding lands, but it will also establish Sandra’s presence in the wasteland as something meant to stand the test of time.
In short, it is time for the craft-loving Core to establish her dynasty.
This Dungeon Core story contains LitRPG/GameLit elements such as statistics and leveling and a heavy crafting emphasis. No profanity, sexual content, or harems.
©2021 Jonathan Brooks (P)2021 Jonathan BrooksI like all the technical stuff, hopefully Sandra figures out how to get Aluminum from the Bauxite she received, and unlocks a lot of other materials too later on considering she seemed to get to the end up her generated list for the time.
I'm not sure if the way the book is written does it, or if it's just the narrator's impression, but Winsa sounds so whiny all the time. Like everything she says sounds like whining or complaining or being unsure. I really dislike her. But I'm a bit biased, I hate all dungeon fairies.
I'm hoping Sandra will start seeing Dungeon expansion as actual crafting. Like figuring out how to craft a better dungeon, instead of just doing handcrafted stuff. She only ever expands her dungeon as a reaction to an incoming threat, and it's never enough... very annoying. She has access to a new type of crafting/building that only dungeons have and she doesn't take pride in it at all. In the next book hopefully she'll do something about that.
Also the fact that her and all the other dungeons just dig rooms like tunnels and any other dungeon core can see the layout has a super simple fix. Expand the entire area with solid metal, like a huge cube or sphere, or cylinder. Then carve out the rooms inside of it, and keep making it bigger. Then the interior layout would be a mystery to all other Dungeon cores, and it would be extremely protected. Maybe use a material like Dragon Glass or something WAY harder than stone, iron, or steel. Then no one would be able to tunnel through it when it's part of the Dungeon.
Sandra can get more AP for having more rooms, and unique fixtures in her Dungeon... that feature is pretty much designed for a crafter. Now that she's not under threat she should do that.
Love the series and crafting
