À propos de cet audio
A charismatic Cuban, Alberto Mistro, offers five middle-aged couples an all-expenses paid holiday. Too good to be true? Of course!
The Mistro family has a secret past, and the holiday makers find themselves in a race against time. They are required to solve a 600-year-old puzzle. If they succeed, they get to go home. If they fail...well, let’s just say, failure isn’t an option.
©2017 Marcia Turner (P)2020 Marcia TurnerInteresting, irritating characters, well-fleshed out. Ten middle aged people are caught up in a treasure hunt reminiscent of The Da Vinci Code, but set on a small island when they sent invitations to go back to Cuba for a week. They are greeted by a mysterious man who tells a story of a Spanish queen, and an ancient lineage that includes a box that needs to be opened in a specific way so as not to destroy what is inside. What is inside is, supposedly, clues to where the ancient treasure is hidden. The government is involved, several kidnappings are involved and a cast of exasperating, interesting team of misfit treasure hunters.
Very interesting, very well thought out.
