I absolutely loved the second book more than the first. I see myself in Lena and it's the first time reading (or listening to) a book or series that has a character like myself as a diabetic but I live with lupus, chronic migraines and Hashimotos as well.

Kyla wrote an amazing post-apoplectic murder mystery and while I love the other authors in the genre, Kyla has something that just draws you in more. I think I gave my family a lot of eye rolls when they disturbed my listening.

I can't wait until July when the trilogy is complete.
