This book was pretty good. Nothing spectacular. The parts that really interested me were the parts about his childhood. Most true crime stories don't go into as much detail about the person's childhood. Or maybe it's just that he seemed to be exceptionally deviant at such a young age.

Dry distressing story, but an important read all the same. Some criminals just aren’t redeemable. God rest the souls of the women that lost their lives and the women who managed to survive these horrific crimes.

This audiobook was a quick listen, with a well-researched, true crime narrative.

While the narrator was clear and well-spoken, his chipper manner directly contrasted the tone of the book, and the seriousness of the subject matter.

The writing itself was a little amateurish (with words frequently repeated- which becomes more prominent when read aloud), but overall engaging and concise. An interesting topic that previously received little coverage.

For a free audiobook, I definitely can’t complain. Enjoyable enough.

This narrator was awful. Too robotic and almost cheerful for the subject matter. I gave the story 3 stars as I think it could have been longer. Not sure if there was simply a lack of information in this case, but a lot felt rushed or glossed over.

It is interesting how towns can busy or simply stop talking about crimes. At first I thought, well, at least they put him away… but of course he got out. Well written, but little to give one hope here.
