What can I say about Nalie that hasn’t been said before. Not much to be honest. We all know Nalie is gifted in so many ways. You see it in her writing, you hear it in her voice, you feel it in her presence. She’s given us so much in the last few years. She’s given us the opportunity to learn and be more self aware, she’s shared with us her most vulnerable and painful moments, her happiest ones too. She’s shown us beauty and pain. She’s given us strength, and hope and knowledge. And now she’s given us this. Her diary in book form and audible. I am most grateful for the audible version despite having purchased the book as well because I’ve recently had a baby and just couldn’t manage to further my reading, whilst trying to show up for the kids and everyone else in my family, it was challenging for me to focus and read without interruptions. I couldn’t show up for myself, so Nalie did. She showed up for me without knowing that she had, as she has done for so many worldwide all these years. Because that’s what Nalie does. She shows up for people, even in her most difficult moments. Thank you Nalie for thinking of all the people who needed to hear your story but couldn’t read about it for whatever reason. Thank you for this!

I bought the audible a year ago but I was worried that I would be triggered by the word Cancer, illness and death since I have been surrounded by those words for years. I was pleasantly surprise that Nalie’s purpose of her book was to inspire us in any stage in our lives. From Cancer to Mental health or just life events, her words and experiences helped me to understand and to focus on what is truly important in this life. I highly recommend it with all my heart. You will discover not only what she went through but you get to experience her loving childlike soul. Her humble fun spirit will make you laugh out loud, smile and want to get curious about your own life. I met Nalie in 2013 when she was giving a speech about what makes does being a Wonder woman mean to her. She shined her beautiful smile to everyone around her, in this book, I can see her speaking to me and smiling. Her legacy lives on in me and anyone who has met her, loved her and cherish her work. Thank you Nalie for your gift of your words! I truly needed them.
