Description

Welcome to the Gun Show!

The top 10 list is populated. The sponsorship program is open. The difficulty is ramping up. The first three floors were nothing compared to what Carl and Donut now face.

The Iron Tangle. An impossibly complicated subway system built out of the world's subterranean railway systems, all combined and then tied together into a knot. Up is down. Down is up. Close is far. The cars are filled with monsters, the railway stations are less than safe, and the exit is always just a few stops away.

But there is hope. For the first time, the crawlers are all working together. The loot is better than ever. And the secret to unraveling it all may be hidden in the pages of a seemingly useless book.

Welcome, crawlers. Welcome to the fourth floor of the dungeon.

far too short, but far too entertaining

I enjoy these books, but just like the fact that they are ending so quickly and only covering one level at a time. other than that really enjoying the performances, the characters, and the story. however, if Carl's ex-girlfriend actually shows up at some point I will be annoyed, but not surprised.

Laugh Out Loud Good Time

I am loving this series. Narration is the best there is. The story is fun and tense at times. The last 2 minutes are the funniest I ever heard on Audible. sorry to the narrator who had to read that part.
The author got his revenge. I saw the Jeff the narrator doing Book 4 on YouTube, I can't wait to buy the next one. Anything SoundBooth Theatre means Excellence.

5 fucking stars all the way!

Another installment from our favorite crawler. More Carl! More Doughnut! More Mongo! More blood! More puzzles and un imaginable odds! Your wasting time reading this when you should be listening to Jeff reading Matt's book! The only disappointing part is that now I have to personally physically read book 4 because someone hasn't greased enough palms to get Jeff to read it yet!

Absolutely wonderful

I had a credit and nothing to listen to - scrolled around for a bit and finally said "fuck it. Dungeon Crawler Carl at least has a good narrator. let's risk it."

holy hell was I lucky.

best series I've come across in so long and Jeff nails it all the way through.

fucking legendary.

Still going strong!

The story is still rolling strong, interesting and the the fact the author is taking his time to plant story seeds and then address them in later novels makes it rather refreshing as we get that constant sense of foreshadowing of later story points.

Keep this series going!

Neeew ACHIEVEMENT: Trilogy?

Remember when all good series were trilogies? I bet you are glad this one is going to be more than just 3 books then!

Rewaarrd: A sense of emptiness and anticipation until the next book is released....

Just get it...

It’s as original and amazing as the previous two. I hope Matt continues this series for as long as his liver can hold out against the Winnie The Poo reviewer comments fueling his alcoholism. XD Don’t change anything. Just keep this train wreck rolling. “Choo Choo MF’ers!”

That final commercial about JTJ was priceless btw. Thanks for laughs!

Phenomenal

Ridiculously funny and far too much fun. An excellent addition to the series and can’t wait for the next.

Best Story I have read in Years!

Hooked in the first five minutes. Easy to actually care about the characters. Well written, would happily read a book for all 18 levels. Anyone who gives this book a bad review deserves to serve time in the Dungeon.

Goddammit Donut, this book is awesome

Another awesome entry to this series, you should know what to expect if you listened to the previous two.
Some nice surprises in this one, and I just can't wait for book 4.

Liked it overall, but...

I love Jeff Hays' narrative style. The characters are still great, the series is still good, it's still funny but this story is annoying. Once everything is explained you get it, but its used a gimmicky puzzle where the clues tell you literally nothing for a payoff that's alright at best but it doesn't make up for the rest of the story being a cluster fuck. You're like, "What the hell is even going on?" There's no legit progression aside from movement toward next to nothing, and the entire story is a mess, followed by ".....tadaaa..." I honestly didn't even care about what was going on by the end, even with the great characters and superb voice acting I was like "just let this bullshit finish already." It's not like you can just ignore it, since all the characters do is act confused about shit the entire story with no real goal other than "get down more stairs." And it's not like you can Sherlock Holmes the ending with the shitty clues. It's a mystery LitRPG, without anything a mystery is supposed to have.

I'm glad I listened to this one first, because without Jeff Hays, I'd have hated this one, and I loved the other books in the series.

"Glerp glerp!"

Quickly becoming a stable of system apocalypse genre series. definitely the funniest, by far. The story is very well written, and the dialogue is fantastic.

Jeff Hays back at it with his signature butter smooth narration.

This damn series!

I don't want to sound so cliche but this damn series is so good and how such a unique twist on the typical litrpg genre.
