If you’ve just started growing your practice or have found yourself feeling trapped by the business you’ve worked so hard to create THIS is the book for you. I couldn’t put all of my feelings towards my practice together and often felt ashamed that I had started becoming so resentful of the long hours and was in search for direction which often doesn’t come when you’re the owner. I felt enlightened when I began hearing the words which validated that I’m not alone in these feelings and taking some very practical steps could help me reconnect and reignite my passion. I’ve purchased the paper version so I can go back and revisit the suggestive steps to start rebuilding my practice. I hope you find the same inspiration and begin your own journey in reevaluating your practice.

this is a good start for building your own accounting firm. its all about the systems and your passions to build a life you deserve yourself.

I absolutely loved EMyth Revisited. It got the juices flowing, but it was very high level. When I saw this book I thought it would get more into the details of how to apply this to an accounting firm. What systems are the most important, how to implement with examples, etc. However this is even higher level. Do Value Pricing, but we won’t explain how. Niche markets are better than being more general, just take our word for it. The longest explanation that occurred in the book was some weird new age concept of becoming one with the universe.

The reason the rating isn’t lower is because it did get me thinking I need to be more strategic with my business and get systems in place before hiring parts of my job out. It did motivate me to get going again, but I think rereading EMyth Revisited would have done the same thing.
