I enjoyed this playful exploration of a varying perspective. I found it to be a fun story which my kids enjoyed. We often listen to a variety of thoughts and perspectives on many topics and we discuss how thoughts and opinions are great to discuss and think about, to ask questions of and to appreciate a variety within those perspectives. We discuss how no matter how much we want any perspective to be true, or how much pressure we have to accept any perspective, it’s important to take them with grains of salt, ask questions, and not to take any for granted. To know there are many varying perspectives without taking any too seriously, to look critically at any “proof” being presented on any side and use critical thinking along with our own ability to test things for ourselves to get more data!
