Excellent companion to consultants seeking to break through their own mindset
So far, I read two books by Michael Zipursky Consulting Success and The Elite consultant mindset. I highly recommend reading them in this order.
Beyond the initial thrill of setting up a business and dreaming big of financial freedom and vision, inevitably comes the plateau where nothing in your business is working. This is when your mind starts playing tricks on you.
In this book, Michael sources examples from real life and how to overcome each one of them.
I identified with each one of them and found the questions raised and guidance provided very helpful to uncover my blindspots and have a business strategies to cope during difficult times instead of outsourcing that to my subconscious fears and give them the control over my life.
I highly recommend this book as a regular read, a guide to return to everytime doubt visits you.
